Teaching & Learning Strategies: Personalising the Pupil Experience

Blended and Distance Learning:

With schools reopening most pupils will be moving from distance learning to a blended learning model. Students will benefit form face to face contact with their teachers and peers, whilst still benefiting from some of the aspects that distance learning has to offer. With many students still only attending school part time it looks like blended learning is here to stay.

Case Study:

At Nord Anglia International School Dubai, they reacted quickly to the changing environment when schools were drastically closed earlier this year. They saw it as an opportunity for enriching curriculum delivery whilst finding a good balance for synchronous and asynchronous learning. As school start to reopen blended learning will still play a part in supporting opportunities for specific learning needs of individual students and classes.
